Theatreworks 24hr Playwriting Competition

  It's 0136 hrs and I still can't sleep.Feeling nervous about tommorrow.Am terribly afraid I'll screw up and make a mess.
  
  One part of me wants to do well, the other part of me thinks if I failed, it's no biggie.Just do it for the experience, that sort of jazz.
  
  Sigh.Pray that I do my best.Thanks guys..

  Go in there knowing you have got what it takes. If it is being appreciated or recognized, great, if not, one man's meat is another man's poison. Don't put undue pressure on yourself. One of the contributing factor of performing poorly in a competition is we try to do too much or impress too much. Just relax and give it your best shot!

  It's okay, there's always a next time. To share an experience, I was unsuccessful in a singing contest last year but I am undeterred. I will join again this October.

  Not getting enough sleep the night before must have affected your stamina. Nevermind, this is good training. You'll do better at your next competition !
