This thread is just a continuation of riddles thread by Dsnake 1, hope deadpoet doesnt mind
No one has solved this:

It comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.
And some of my own:
Mysteriously I appeared,
Nothing serious when I am explained.
I am something, if you don't know me,
I am nothing if you know.
Above I remain dancing proudly
Ministers, generals, world leaders all will respect me
Play music while I rise to the top
Conquests and great events require my presence
Yet sometimes all I do is dance with my brothers
What am I? -

That's right, the answer is Fog.
Actually, it wasn't even a riddle, it's a famous poem by Carl Sandburg!
I just substituted "The Fog" with "It" in the first line.
