Misty morning musings .....

hmm, it's such a wet dreary morning. the streets are wet with the tears of a million souls lost & the faces on all at the bus stop seem to mirror their sadness. mid-morning but all seems muted, market chatter is subdued & even the birds are not yet taken to flight.

somedays we laugh & somedays we cry, but rare is the day where as one, we pause.

May be it is the rain that helped me today,
How I wish it could happen everyday!
For in the refreshing drops of rain...
My feelings would some expression, gain.

An attempt to capture my thoughts before they flew,
This might sound like a poem, out of the blue,
Now, I'm left wondering when they'll be back again,
Guess, it can be the next hour...but only if it rains.

morn came silently,
without a trace,
none of the sun's glory....

sky open widely,
water came pouring,
all of heaven seems weeping....

on bed lonely,
soft toy staring,
pillow besides me mourning....

Crying or Very sad

when i woke up this morning,
Its the rain that's greeting me.
It sort of makes the day moody,
On a rainy may morning.

As i make my way to work,
Everyone seems down.
Was it the rainy morning,
That took away those smiles.

Maybe we havent slept enough,
as the weather's great for naps.
Maybe we dislike travelling,
And dislike getting wet.

I grab a cup of hot coffee,
then begin to check my mail.
There are works that are to be done.
And dreams to be fulfilled
Datelines to be met,
And countless things to do.

Morning was but an illusion,
something the clock dreamed up.
A conspiracy to kick me out
of this bed, full of dreams
So I did stir, and grumbled
and opened my eyes
misty in the morning.

Very Happy

Sounded pretty rough at the edges.
