Dear fellow poets and friends,
Our humble poetry forum is “officially” recongized by Gilbert Koh, a well-known local poet, as one of Singapore poetry websites. He actually wrote the description for DPS (S) and guess what, it feels so right.

Frankly, I was speechless when he offered to provide a link to DPS (S). It may be a simple gesture of goodwill on his part, but to me, it meant a lot. Obviously I was overjoyed, but at the same time I was trembling inside.
Many poets, both local and overseas, visited “The Reader’s Eyes” on a regular basis. I am really afraid that after clicking the link to our forum, that will be their first and the last visit. I am really afraid, I really do.
So my dear friends, please continue to make this a fun place. And for the handful of you who want to learn more about poetry, letÂ’s work together to achieve greater height. Not for me, not for DPS (S), but for the pure love of poetry!

I am thinking of organizing a poetry reading session/retreat somewhere next year. Maybe can invite him to come. Again, let's work together! -

In the Open Category, members of the public, i.e. you, will get to vote for your favourite poems. The poem with the most votes will be the winner of this category.
In the JudgesÂ’ Choice Category, members from the judging panel will select a winning poem. It is highly possible that the same poem is selected for both categories. -

let's hope there'll be more awareness abt poetry in the general public and more poets will be born/discover/mutate here! oops not very serious .... -
