A good poem is like a good book
and is often worth more than the first look
It has a beginning and an end
A theme, be it minor or grand
With words, imagery and rhythm
Unveiling meanings with utmost freedom
Allowing the reader's imagination to flow
Yet setting the boundaries where thoughts can go
As free as it is a form of expression
Each reader arrives at his own impression.
