The Blossom in Waiting....

the blossom in waiting....
sways in the breeze ever so gently....
it bends to us just so kindly
to show us its glory......
its petals are opened oh so softly...
and it blushes very sweetly
sharing with us its quiet beauty...
it will pass to nothing quickly...
but for now it is still pretty
and it holds on stongly....
for its dragonfly. -

Thank you, DP, I just happened to see this flower blossing in Orchard road, near a bus stop...it was the strangest of places to be and the only one that was a full bloom...it looked so alone..and so beautiful...really inspired me on my walk down the street...
