Daemon's Poetic Challenge.

The aim of the challenge is simple:
First the writer would write four lines of a poem, there would be one conjunctions per line (e.g. 'and', 'or', 'but', 'nor', ) and each line would rhyme twice with the former between the conjunctions. The writer must end the last line with a noun and that noun would be the subject of the next writer. It is recommended to quote the previous writer and it would be welcomed if unnecessary remarks are being avoided.
Let me start the challenge:
The demon had wings but he could not fly in the air,
That was one of those things that he could hardly bear.
However, he had an aptitude for literature and a strong will,
To keep others on a trance with his stature or his remarkable quill. -
Can you give another example? Like very difficult leh.

I broke the quill and spent the days waiting for the Sun to rise.

I think we have to start learning the basics of English again.
Conjunctions - A joining word, usually to join phrases, sentences, clauses or words.
Noun - A naming word, usually, for objects, subjects, actions.
Adjective - A descriptive word, usually used to describe nouns.
Verb - An action word. (e.g jump, sit, stand) -
It can be a noun if we place 'the' before it. For example:

think what Daemon is pointing out is the use of the word... even if the context is "of the past", that meaning in itself made the word an adjective or a descriptive...Originally posted by tare:err.... like wat DP said... better to say "hurts of the past" .... past is a noun..
