wah good good goodOriginally posted by Origami:January arrives to mark the new year
Moving proudly without any fear
New wishes and new resolutions
Planting the seeds of many ambitions
Will it be good? Will it be bad?
Will it be happy? Will it be sad?
Easiest way is to go with the flow
Do not worry cos it will show
Sitting here in front of the screen
I wonder how this year I've been
Have I done my best, is everything fine
For next year I am Twenty Nine
Life is such
We worry too much
Watch our mind
All will be fine

Ahhh... remind me of Christmas. Looking forward to it.Originally posted by eskyhastofall:December pounces with customary grandeur
Misting over the land with showers of ice
Lightening the night with shimmering crystals
Mere words were reduced to puffs of smokes
They linger for you to marvel, but only for a sight
Before swirling away with gleeful delight
I held out my hands and caught a drop
It remained in my hands with stubborn pride
As if my warmth is nought compared with
The finest season of them all
Monsoon? Hmm... sure why not.Originally posted by fallin:erm...does monsoon count as a season? Considering that singapore only 1 kinda of weather all yr round.
monsoon?? i thought it's pretty obvious that i'm talking about snow....Originally posted by fallin:erm...does monsoon count as a season? Considering that singapore only 1 kinda of weather all yr round.
This is getting interesting. Different interpretation of a poem. Hee hee.Originally posted by eskyhastofall:monsoon?? i thought it's pretty obvious that i'm talking about snow....
and erm, this is not in singapore context....
the 'drop' in the last stanza is not a drop of rain!!! it's a snow drop!!! 'stubborn pride' refers to its refusal to melt. cos very cold lor! so i refer to my 'warmth' as insignificant to the winter season...hmm...got it?
Hello En' long time no see.Originally posted by En':Interesting~! Me long ago rusted up liaoz, now restarting engines and hope it isn't too terrible. Here goes June:
Summer noon of tea and roses,
June days filtered in like sunshine through forest.
Multiple rays of light so crisp and sharp,
As nature resumes the role of a bard.
Endless stories of ancient wisdoms,
as the wild berries came into their season.
Just a simple day of strawberries and cream,
and city nights of summer flings.
The season of inspiration, muses and dreams,
Strolling so slowly throughout the days,
Lazy days laced with subtle sweetness,
Hours that soon faded without a trace...
