  mol is a measurement with no units....when u r referring to 1 mol of barium...u mean 1 mol of barium atoms? or 1 mol of barium bars??

  Ba(s) wun react with Na(s).. for sure..
  but maybe can react in this way
  
  Ba+(aq) + Na(s) = Na+(aq) + Ba(s)
  
  Redox reaction occurred becos Ba+ is reduced and Na(s) is oxidised.. in a electrochem cell.
