Hi. I'm organising activities for a group of teenagers between 13 - 16 years old. There are about 30 of them, comprising mainly of boys and a few girls. The activities are to be conducted within the school compound.
I would like to ask for opinions as to what type of activities would interest them.

For treasure hunt, we already have a similar prog like the amazing race.
For water bombs, it will be creating too much noise and the students dun really get to learn anything from the activity.
As for those thinking games, not everyone may be involved. Chances are, some may just switch off and wait for the answers.

Yeap. I notice that too. That is why I need to organise interesting and educational games to keep them from patronising the lan gaming shops too much.
We held sports game like Captain's Ball regularly.

its more "get to know the opposite sex physically kinda" games...
standing in a line, boy-girl alternate lining up, then pass the item from mouth to mouth lor...
yeah treasure hunt would make a good game.but make it more of an "amazing race" kinda thing.. like they haf to do stuff, instead of juz finding clues all over the school..
except that there are no eliminations..and if putting them into pairs might end up with too many groups, divide them into groups of 4s or 5s..
mind games/thinking games shd be good too.. lyk those tt d whole group stand on a canvas n haf to flip d canvas over w/o any 1 of them standing out of d canvas..
shd be fun organizing games for kids..cheers!

I see But I don't really like the idea of the boy-girl alternating thing as there are quite a number who will not be willing and drop out from e game.

They haf to work as a team.. all cramp to a corner of d canvas, slowly folding over the part of canvas tt no one is standing at..then slowly, lyk one by one stand at d part that's flipped oredi..and continue slowly laa.. get d picture?
"On Land" river crossing
raft size about a standard pallet , but in loose form,
around 10 student on loose pallet,
the loose pallet can be use to form kind of crossing "bridge" to the other side of the river.
the propose of this game is more to indentify who is the "leader" amount the 10 over student, which are the follower, which is "No Action Talk Only" NATO.
simple game but the analysis part is very interesting.
Try this activity:
Try, 'cross the lines'.

The school does not approve LAN games. The activities have to be educational.
