Best way to study science and maths?

My maths improved from F9 to borderline pass/fail but most of my mistakes come from careless mistakes
Most of the time I finish doing, I either have no time or ran out of time to do a check so I had to flip over to ensure I wrote something
How? Had I not make so much careless mistakes, I could have easily gotten B4 or even a 3
As for science, No matter how I study.. The day the paper is on. I look at the paper and my mind goes blank. How?

Last time when I was in Sec 2 I failed my Maths very badly and I can't study A Maths in upper sec (I almost dropped from express to normal A) but from sec 3 my E Maths starts to improve and I scored a A2 for my E Maths in O lvl.

science- understand the concepts, ask teachers, read beyond your textbook. -

For Maths, other than practice, it's still practice. You can doing TYS for Maths. Personally, I prefer the one published by SAP (look out for seahorse logo).Originally posted by Agenda:O lvl, combined sci and e maths

For Science, understand the concepts before attempting questions in TYS. Your textbook will be the best resource. Some assessments can be of help, but don't trust them too much. -

science is to memorise formulae and KNOW how to apply.

One of the sites I used for fast revison before tests. Don't use for exams, it's not detailed enough. For tests, it's just nice.

seriously, understand.. why and how things happen..
math.. same way..
like why you are doing what you are doing... rote learning for these two subjects will get you nowhere.. -
