  Meridian JC is in Pasir Ris, their cut-off point should be quite low... I'm not very sure though 'cause I only care about poly.

  My friend went into Meridian and ahem... she lives in the same block as me in Toa Payoh. I wonder how long she take to reach school everyday... even I go Bedok North to work already take me about 1 hr 30 min including waiting for bus, walking and sitting on the bus.
