Fire breaks out in HDB flat at Jalan Bukit Merah; no one injured
SINGAPORE: Fire broke out at an HDB unit in Block 116 Jalan Bukit Merah on Sunday (Apr 17) afternoon.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the incident at 1.50pm.
Authorities also said the fire involved the contents of a kitchen and was extinguished using two water jets.
No one was injured or had to be evacuated, said SCDF, adding that the cause of the fire is being investigated.
