One person was trapped and had to be released using a hydraulic rescue tool, says the Singapore Civil Defence Force
SINGAPORE: A road traffic accident on Saturday (Mar 26) afternoon left three individuals hospitalised, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
SCDF said it was alerted to an accident at the junction of Yishun Avenue 7 and Sembawang Road at about 12.20pm. Two fire bikes, one fire engine, one Red Rhino, three ambulances and one supporting appliance were dispatched to the scene.
One person was trapped and released by SCDF using a hydraulic rescue tool, while three others were conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital conscious.
According to eyewitness accounts online, the accident involved a six-car pile-up and caused a traffic jam.
