SINGAPORE: A restaurant in Little India caught fire on Monday morning (Aug 17), but no one was hurt, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
The fire at 102 Serangoon Road involved the contents of a restaurant, the kitchen area and the second floor rooftop, it added.
SCDF said they were alerted to the incident at 10.10am and deployed two fire engines, a red rhino, an ambulance and a support vehicle to the scene, and two water jets were used.
Thirteen people had self-evacuated when SCDF arrived, it added.
