SINGAPORE: Some 120 residents had to be evacuated when a fire broke out on Saturday morning at a private residential building at 4, Derbyshire Road.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call at 6.48am.
SCDF immediately
dispatched two fire engines, one Red Rhino, one fire bike, one ambulance
and two supporting vehicles to the scene.
The fire involved contents in a bedroom at the 12th level of the building.
As a precaution, police evacuated some 120 residents before firefighters arrived at the scene.
Firefighters put out the fire using two water jets.
No one was hurt in the incident.
