Rescue incident at junction of Crawford St & Republic Ave

SCDF spokesperson said:
"The road traffic accident happened at the junction of Crawford Street and Republic Avenue and involved a van.
"We were alerted to the road traffic accident at 11.18pm on 28 July.
"SCDF responded by sending 4 ambulances, 1 Red Rhino, 1 fire engine and 3 supporting vehicles.
"Upon arrival, there was a van overturned on its left side.
"SCDF extricated 3 casualties using rescue tools from the passenger seat within in 10 minutes.
"A total of 9 casualties were conveyed to hospital via ambulance. 4 were sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital with head injuries, cuts and abrasions to limbs. 5 had chest and back pains."
