SINGAPORE: A foreign domestic worker was rescued after having fallen from the 12th floor of a block of flats in Woodlands on Sunday morning.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted about the incident at Block 500, Woodlands Drive 44 at about 10.15am.
The SCDF said its rescuers found her hanging on to the window ledge of the kitchen of a unit on the 11th floor. They brought her to safety using ropes, within 10 minutes.
The woman complained of pain in the neck, stomach and legs. She was sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
