Fire at junction of Simei Rise & Simei Street 1

  A spokesman from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said:
  
  "The SCDF received a call at 9.29am this morning (Jan 05) about a fire at the junction of Simei Rise and Simei Street 1.
  
  "One fire engine and one Red Rhino were dispatched to the location.
  
  "The fire involved a motorcycle parked at the pavement. It was extinguished completely by SCDF personnel.
  
  "No one was injured.
  
  "The cause of fire is still undergoing investigations."
