Fire at 19 Defu Lane 4

"At 7.39am, the SCDF received a call alerting us to black smoke at 19 Defu Lane 4.
"The SCDF arrived at the location within 8 minutes.
"Black smoke could be seen by the responding fire crew and upon arrival fire could be seen at the two storey factory.
"The fire was burning intensely at the front portion of the factory.
"SCDF fire-fighters immediately set up offensive fire fighting water jets to prevent the fire from spreading.
"The fire involved wooden products and was confined to the front portion of the factory.
"The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes and extinguished by 8 water jets.
"The cause of the fire is under investigation." -
