SINGAPORE: A 22-year-old Malay woman was injured when a fire broke out at a shophouse along Guillemard Road on Sunday morning.
Civil defence officers received a call around 7.30am, informing them of a fire on the second floor of the building.
An impulse gun (which uses small amounts of water) and water jet extinguished the flames within minutes.
The woman suffered first degree burns on her back, and was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
