Query on applying leave while on course

  Hi guys.. Been out and about after ord-ing as a combat medic specialist..been working for about 4 years and i've finally decided to take the plunge and join scdf as a paramedic... However...i have my wedding coming up next year november and this will be while i am on course as a parAmedic... Would i be able to apply for leave or UPA for my own wedding while i am on course? Would it be granted as i can't change the date for my wedding due to the date being auspicious and i cant change the date for catering..and whatnots...

  kindly ask the overall person in charge of your course pertaining to this..

  i noe...scdf hotline just give me a standard template Public relations answer that I have to seek permission from PC/OC...

  wondering if there are ppl in the inside who can give me a slightly clearer answer...

  i dun want to reach to a circumstance that once i have applied..and get accepted..undergoing training...and when I am applying for just a simple Monday and Friday kind of Leave from actual training that it gets rejected...

  considering that it is one of the longest courses in SCDF and I'm sure there are other days whereby one can make up for lost time..

  oh nvm..i think its one of those things where there isnt any black and white answer and it depends on superiors...
