SINGAPORE: The new Banyan Fire Station at Jurong Island was
officially opened by Minister of Law and Second Minister for Home
Affairs K Shanmugam on Tuesday.
Strategically located at the centre of the Jurong Island extension, the
fire station manages a fleet of 12 emergency vehicles, including fire
engines and Hazardous Materials (HazMat) vehicles, with some 80
personnel who will respond to HazMat as well as fire and rescue
incidents round-the-clock.

but in time to come, there's PSA barge terminal and 2nd Jurong Island Checkpoint/ bridge to be constructed linking Benoi Rd.
