Fire breaks out on board barge anchored off Pandan Rd
SINGAPORE : A fire broke out on board a barge anchored about 30 metres off shore from Pandan Road on Friday.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call at about 5pm.
A fire engine, a red rhino and a support vehicle were deployed to the scene.
The fire involved two containers on board the barge.
SCDF officers put out the blaze in about 20 minutes.
