A staff room at ITE Dover College was gutted in an early morning blaze, but no one was injured.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call at 6am on Sunday informing it of a fire at the site.
Upon the officers' arrival, the fire was found raging in the staff room, located on the second floor of the four-storey building.
SCDF officers managed to bring the fire under control in about 20 minutes, but the staff room sustained extensive damage.
In a statement, ITE said, structural engineers have declared the building to be structurally safe.
It added that affected staff will be relocated to temporary work areas within the College.
Classes at the campus will be suspended tomorrow and will resume on Tuesday.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
