SINGAPORE: A fire broke out at a shophouse at Block 513, Tampines
Central 1, near the Tampines Bus Interchange on Friday morning.
Singapore Civil Defence Force officers entered the locked premises by cutting the front and rear shutters with a power saw.
The flames were brought under control within 15 minutes and did not
spread to the neighbouring units. There were no casualties in the
incident.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
