SINGAPORE : A fire broke out in the driver’s cabin of a diesel tanker along the Seletar Expressway on Friday afternoon.
The tanker, which was headed towards the city, had stopped near the Woodlands Avenue 2 exit.
Eyewitnesses said smoke was billowing out from the driver’s cabin.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call alerting it to the fire at 6.02pm and sent one fire engine and two fire bikes to the scene.
An ambulance also arrived on the scene, but the driver of the tanker did not need treatment.
