Massive fire at Sungei Kadut timber factory; none injured
SINGAPORE: A huge fire broke out at a timber factory at Sungei Kadut Street 4 at about 10am on Saturday.
14 motor jets were deployed, but it still took firefighters 45 minutes to get the flames under control.
By then, the fire had destroyed the factoryÂ’s timber products and had also spread to an adjacent unit.
No one was injured in the incident.
The Civil Defence is still investigating the cause of the fire. — CNA/yb
