  Fire at playground in Bedok North, no one hurt
  
  SINGAPORE : A fire broke out at a playground in Bedok North, and fortunately no one was hurt.
  
  Singapore Civil Defence Force officers received a call at about 1:45 in the afternoon alerting them to the fire at Block 117.
  
  The fire was put out in 10 minutes but the playground was already burnt beyond repair. The nearby lamp post, dustbin and trees were also not spared.
  
  Officers are investigating the cause of the fire. — CNA /ls
