hi,
I am going for an interview as Senior Officer next month. I was told that the course will commence in Dec. Most likely the post is Lt.
I was in the Police Force for 10 years and holding a 2nd lower hons in Economics by SIM. However, I was only a Staff Sgt in Police Force and resigned early this year, before being called up for interview next month.
The website of SCDF mentioned that hons degree will be paid at about 3200 (after ns) but I did not complete NS - I signed on Police force right after studies.
Will I be paid as though I had NS? Better still, will I be paid increments due to the number of years in the police force, for instance every 2 years one increment? (fat hope?)
If not, how should I neg the pay? Presuming that I'm being offered the job upon interview... Btw, I've already postponed the interview for about 3 times because I had some court cases to attend (I was an investigator).
thanks...
