is it like, in the middle of BRT, you go to an interview, if succeed then skip BRT and go ERS, if ERS top 5% then go BOC?
no la. ERS and BRT start together. if you're ERS material, you go to CDA tomorrow, then after a few days, you will go ERS already. should be that way.

weak la. i once over rode another platoon's PC authority, yelled at his recruit platoon, grabbed their bags which wasn't arranged properly, tossed it all over the place, made them run to the training tower, and back, in 5 mins, if haven't reach by 5 mins, 1/2 right them, then make them run again, then make them arrange properly.
after that then i salute to the PC. haha.

since you enter in the BRT stage, the first week is the orientation week.
for BRT recruits, whether or not you make it to ERS depends ENTIRELY on your physical status/educational qualifications. this will be on the monday of the 2nd week(yes you book in on sunday night still)
so, do you die die want to go ERS? talk to your PC. show him & ur instructors you have the fitness, perseverance to. it's like NPNT in camp too.
top 5% or best 5, i not sure. when you complete your ERS, the best few will go on to complete the last 3mths of the BOC course & commission as a 2LT(while the rest pass out as SGT).

truthfully, they consider more on educational qualification than physical status la. as in, if u don';t have broken bones and stuff b4. even if you can do 0 pull up, it doesn't matter. they will train u up. hahaha
it's 6 mths. i'm not sure BRT how long.

times have changed. now recruits can complain to parents. parents can complain to OC/CI. instructors can get reprimanded the next day.
i also tio parents' complaint. after that day, i switch off. just wait till ORD.

yes. inclusive of the ERS of course. you being an A level student have higher chance to enter ERS. of course you do. how about your eyesight? colourblind? any broken bones like what dumbdumb! mentioned?

no.
the BOCs are actually drafted from SAF. after their BMT, some of them go into OCS, but some are drafted to scdf or police.
if you're going to BOC from ERS, your educational level don't really matter, but your performance in ERS does.
if your field exercises and final exercises are solid, and you show great leadership skills. you'll be called for interview.
haha i keena called, but i rejected it. after 6 mths in hell, and finally got out of it. i was very scared to go back to hell for another 3 months

depends on what you want to achieve out of your NS.
i have A level recruit being very happy being in public affairs department, writing articles for the rescue 995 newsletter because his GP is very good.
i have A level recruit happy with being an instructor. like myself.
i have plentiful A level people being sergeants at stations, working one day, two days off.
depends on what you want out of your NS. providing you dont look at financial gains.
