SINGAPORE : Fire broke out on Monday evening on an oil rig under construction in Tuas.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said the fire was contained in the cold room on the rigÂ’s second deck.
The fire, which took place at 5 Gul Road, involved insulation and construction materials.
No one was hurt in the incident and no evacuation was ordered.
It took SCDF officers 30 minutes to control the fire.
Keppel Offshore Marine is the owner of the rig.
