there were instances whereby 2 of my stn drivers who were caught for speeding & failure to form up..
seriously, LTA must understand the situation we're in & for standby cases, we can't afford to waste any time waiting for the traffic lights to turn green for example..

Singapore govt should really look into letting SCDF FireEngines&Ambulances go thru traffic lights when proceeding for 995 calls! ( Of course, safety comes 1st @roads) Strobe lights & Sirens on, S'poreans should really learn to give way to SCDF on roads!

Actually, those rounded cameras that you sometimes see above the traffic light at junctions, LTA said that it was implemented to control traffic but actually its totally fake..

I saw 111 yesterday since someone collasped at my location.
i have to say it looks quite sleek. especially the side mirrors.
But the siren is horrible.

collasped as in no pulse & no breathing right..
both side mirrors are integrated with the flashing signal lights & don't mind me asking, but why do you say that the siren is horrible..

there is the siren + horn function together in one switch box & the other is the foot pedal which is on the floor in between the driver's seat as well as the passenger seat & I assume you meant that one..

there are various siren sounds that can be heard as it can be selected from by turning the knob..its faulty (not surprising as its an ambulance from central f/s) I presume & the lastest ambulance euqipment is assmebled by STK but maintained by ComfortDelGro..

Yeah....some s'poreans must kana own friends/famliy then they know it is really important to give way to SCDF

I think the newer ambulances sirnes are really very soft....unlike the QX44XX versions, sirens are damm loud
...the QX52XX & QX1xx versions sirens are soft...really...

ahhh.. it was hot on my tail along upper changi road north.
i had to keep right coz' i was turning right ahead.. when i got into the slip road to turn right into prison, i thot i was safe and QX179R was headed straight to loyang or what...
sekali it also entered my slip road.. so i just turn right quickly and sped in again.
hahaha.. then i turn to staff carpark.. ambulance went into prison complex itself. phew. -
