perhaps you're talking about the much older ambulances but the latest ambulances uses LED as its beacon lights so no matter if its daytime or at night, motorists will be able to see it much clearer..
What is the standard 'lifespan' of each ambulance?

well, use till cannot be used anymore lor..but if anything breaks, comfortdelgro is there to fix it but still i was hoping for some other contractors to maintain the ambulances though

Haha...yeah....use till can't use leow!! That's how the lifespan is!! Not only SCDF, even SPF also like that! The Nissan vans from 1990s are still in use!!! But lucky, SCDF ambulances never use from 1990s to now! Haha...the oldest SCDF ambulance running should be the QX44xx versions which are used when the main fleet breaks down...

yup, if i can remember correctly, the oldest would be the QX44xx series & that's what I nicknamed them "mobile saunas"
