This is an intresting thread! Been reading through the previous pages, jus asking, what does Standby Case mean?

standby case means when the EAS crew has to report to control which in turn report to the nearest govt hospital to standby for a very serious case (e.g unconscious)

Oh. So standby cases most likely for P1 cases? And is stroke a P1 case? Sorry for asking so much questions.

yup, P1 cases are usually all the cases which needs to be standby but then again there are exceptions.
depending on the severity of the stroke & not all needed to be classfied as P1 cases..
