For incident activations, does Amb crew still collect a printout from the Duty Room, or upon activation, hop onto "alfa" and retrieve infor from the MDTs? would there be a name given for "paper printout"? Thanks

yes, the either one of the crew members will still collect the incident printout called a "call sheet" which is usually done by the medics or paramedics..
there are times when the printer has probs which I myself had encountered several times during my medic life in stn & if that happens, we will depend on the MDT since we have a turnout time of 1 min..
Thanks. Hmm, another few pls:
(1) Are "alfa" despatched on the order of availability, ie A111 > A112 > A113 etc? Who decides, stn or main control centre?
(2) Remember once watched a MediaCorp drama, so do "alfa" report over radio on turning out from Stn?
(3) What happens when a particular vehicle, for example A111 goes for servicing, is a spare Alfa always standing by at stn?
Thanks again. Sori for troubling.
A221 on 995 call along PIE towards Tampines @1910hrs
A111 & 113 at boon keng fire post same timing as the previous time.
A111 still using previous model.
I think A111 is forward deployed to BK FP now with PA 111 stationed at CFS?

the correct term should be alpha instead of what you stated..
(1) Availability would be the 2nd choice (depends on the OCC) but rather, its the approximity would be the best option if I were the one manning the OCC..
(2) The mediacorp drama you watched was "Lifeline" if I remembered the title of the show correctly. Yes, either the paramedic or the medic will report of the matra set before heading for the incident location.
(3) Mostly, ComfortDelGro will be the one providing the spare alphas in the event of a routine mantainence or a breakdown were to occur.
Hope I've answered your queries & its no trouble at all..
