Anyone can shed light on the different duty the ambulances responds to, the different uses of the strobe lights and the sirens. Lastly, which ambulances are zoned to which hospital.

control will usually dispatch ambulances which are situated near to the incident site, for example if A221 is located in stn with no calls and there's an incident few meters away, this particular ambulance will be dispatched but assuming if A221 is on call then the next nearest ambulance will be dispatched..
bear in mind that SCDF ambulances can only en-route to the nearest govt hospitals and NOT private hospitals, an example would be ambulances from tampines fire stn & changi fire stn would usually en-route to Changi General Hospital (CGH)..assuming the call is regarding a child who is have fits, then the ambulance will en-route to KK..
as for the strobe lights & sirens, every ambulance dispatched for a 995 call will have their strobe lights on, sirens would be used when motorists fail to give way and continuous blaring of the siren means that its a standby case and every minute counts..
