  The SCDF will sound the Important Message Signal through the island wide public warning system sirens at 12.05pm on 15th September 2007 to commemorate Civil Defence Day. The public is advised not to be alarmed.

  thats what i was taught durin the shelter manager course.
  any room that has no window can be a shelter.

  This year, finally got people alarmed by PWS.
  cos in the early quarters of the year, a flaring (or fire) which toxic gases were produced on the island.
  SCDF issued an IPP warning to the residents staying around Jurong-Tuas area at 1-2+am for immediate precationary actions on IPP, which the PWS on important message and all clear signal were given.
