SINGAPORE : A car crashed into a lamp post in Pasir Ris on Friday morning, injuring the woman driver.
The woman, in her late 20s, was sent to Changi General Hospital.
Police and the Civil Defence officials said they received a call at about 9am, alerting them to the accident.
According to eye-witnesses who called the MediaCorp News hotline, the car had veered into a pedestrian walkway and hit a lamp post at Pasir Ris Street 11 near Block 187.
The impact from the crash knocked the lamp post from its fixings and it landed on the grass verge beside the road. - CNA/ms
