Pls help on this enlistment question

  Hi
  
  i got my enlistment date which is on 11 sept. I m abit old (22 this yr)
  
  can i ask for earlier enlistment? I m pes A so what will i be doing inside?
  
  Is SCDF good choice to serve ns or should i op.

  if you're from poly and your NAPFA is Silver/Gold, there's a high chance you'll be in ERS. Just pray hard that you won't get FFS. Cos they push you physically in FFS. But mentally in ERS. But for ERS, got many benefits. Can bring handphone and charger. But bring at your own risk. Can swim or play soccer after training. Best! But training quite tough la.
  
  anyway, u cannot change already. die2 must serve. unless u go break leg and drop PES. and no need to go NS already. haha.. SCDF is a good choice anyway. Cos you will be saving lives. Isn't that a better calling than the rest? Your skills learnt in SCDF will be used in the outside world after NS.
  
  Though the Army play with guns, can they shoot guns after NS?? In SCDF, you will learn much more. But be careful la if you go ERS or FFS. Cos they will tekan u more so that you won't think that SCDF is slacker than the rest. FFS have a reputation of being highly tough. But you will be a stronger man once you finish your course. No matter what, SCDF is the best place to serve NS. Where else can you get higher pay - basic pay + allowance money?
