Sure?! It's that nice?! Yay! So the days will be normal 5 days week? If mine is a 7 week BRT that means i just have to normally book in on Monday and book out on friday until my 7 week BRT ends? Why they ask you to bring cert is simple....cause you need to be at least have 5 'o' levels to get into ERS.
If you have less than 5 o levels, but pes B or A, myopia less than 500degrees then you have a chance to go to FFC(fire-fighting course)
If you're chosen for ERS or FFC then you wont go for Basic rescue training. Instead, ull head straight to CDA for specialised fire-fighting training. -
u'll most likely book out every friday and book in by sunday during BRT stage.
Most of the scdf personnals are malays but chinese and indians in the minority, and its not uncommon to see guys w lots of tattoos over their bodies -
As "bbbc" has already mentioned, you'll book in on Sunday evenings & book-out on Fridays evenings BUT unless you're unlucky enough to kena guard duty then that's a total different story altogether...Originally posted by joeacid:Sure?! As for the portion part, well mostly are malays whereby you can spot several with tattoos, some visble whereas some aren't but as long as you try to get along with each other, I'm sure you'll enjoy your recruit life

Hmm... My brother is a army person so he didn't know anything about CD~ but i remember him bringing all those stuffs~ Do i need to bring them?
If possible, could you share with me what are the list of things i have to bring? I don't wish to miss out anything even thought its only some "Toiletries" and stuffs~ Hee -
Its optional to bring toilet roll as well as washing powder....swimming trunks, even though they stated on the letter to bring, you'll get yours together with the stuffs that you'll be issued on the 1st day of enlistment & googles is a must bring item as there will be swimming lessons...Originally posted by joeacid:Hee icic~

Hey Phatmonsta and JoeAcid, I have a feeling we'll be in the same platoon lol I'm in the exact situation as both of u.. C9L2 for 6 mths, only one in my whole family and school who's going to be one of the guys in blue.. Maybe we should email and get to know each other before we go in.. better to be in numbers =)
