NSF's can become HAZMAT?

Hello, why is this forum so dead
?
I've been wondering whether NSF can have HAZMAT as their assigned vocation or its like DART where only regulars can become?
I read in another post that the chances of becoming and SCDF officer during NSF is rare if posted to BRTC and the chances of becoming an officer is higher from BMT?
Does this apply to NCO's as well,if kena BRTC, stuck as man for the rest of NS? -

HAZMAT is another group under the Emergency Response Specialists (ERS) which mean it for regulars, but NSF still will be undergoing HAZMAT trainings...

It is RARE that NSF becomes RCs, DRCs of a Fire Station...but one of my Friend in Station 11 managed to get promoted to RC-LTA (Rota Commander-Lieutenant). if not wrong he's in Rota 1...
But only a few of them will go for the EXTRA 9 MONTHS course as the course is TOUGH...

Well, the last Question u gotta ask ur OI/C or 2I/C...they decide for u if ur staying with the SRB, or go to Fire Stations. -

Only regulars can be Hazmat. NSF officers are normally routed to BRTC or FFTW. They rarely go station unless there is a shortage of regulars.Originally posted by plo30360:Hello, why is this forum so dead ?
