well anyway you shouldn't be calling him when he's working in the first place
please learn to separate work from personal life.
and learn respect each other's jobs, do not distract one another with things like phonecalls.
I personally don't like calls coming through my phone during work. Firstly it would not leave a good impression on me, talking on the phone while on the job.
Secondly it is distracting and if i missed anything after putting down the phone, it might lead to disaster.
So you have to learn to get this basics into your head. -

i work shifts, i'm not in SPF btw. and i won't know my timing until the day before. But there is a certain timing... i won't say mine is that complicated to understand, but i do tell my gf what time i start daily... what time i finish i can't confirm also. I am also recallable too.
sometimes during work i can't pick up the phone either, i put it to silent and i check it end of work...
well i guess its up to ur bf whether he wants to let u know more or not. -

i wun like it if pple call me when i am working. tats the least respect u can give to ur partner. U cannot have him 365days a year, u cannot have him 24hrs a day too.

eh, i think she should learn to respect his job... if she wants to know anything, just know the hours... it doesn't matter where his ship goes too, why he get recalled so many times, why he work funny shift hours. He's a coast guard, a mata, so u have to be prepared for all this.
Maybe the most she should do is just know the hours like, one shift lasts how long or when is his duty days... that's about it, the rest can't really be controlled.
The calling during work certainly must stop.

Anyway I heard you should not bring them down from the front ah? Sometimes all their stuff which happen to be in their stomachs all spew out once u loosen the noose or something?
The closest I got to saw blood was the aftermath of a traffic accident lah. But only a few drops on the road only.....
