Hihi!! Just curious.. can I check with you peeps who were offered and went for the trg etc.. does weight actually matters?? Just curious cuz I failed my SA and not sure why.. If weight does matters I plan to start losing weight alr to ensure successful rate.. Is there anyone who is overweight too?? hahaha
(My physical fitness is there but just can't seem to lose my weight..)
Dear all,
I am not sure whether is it relevant in this thread but i am actually applying for the Senior Prison Officer post and wanna get some help from you all.
I applied for the SPO position on 16 Mar 16 and PRIS send me a mail on 29 Mar 16 asking me for supporting documents. I send them all the documents on 31 Mar 16 in the middle of the night and the status in my career.gov.sg is still under "In Process" at that point of time when i send.
However, i just checked and notice that the status had changed to "unsuccessful". Does that mean that i have been rejected? or should i wait for their email reply? Reason why i am asking is because the status changed within a day. Im curious as I had read through alot of the SPO thread and notice that they dont reply you so fast.
So should i trust the application status or should i email them to check?
Hope bros and sis here can help.
Appreciate.

Sorry to hear that but your are rejected.
Jimcool. I have received the same treatment. It is too fast to accept. I did write back but there isnt any response. I am serious on the application and sad to know the outcome after I replied.
I replied on 30/3 and the next moment when I check the status on 31/3/2016, it already showed unsuccessful.
I am wonder which part went wrong. sad. May be i am too weak for uniformed service.
@kgtan, i had received same treatment too. Email them and no response. Still thinking should i reapply as the closing date is 7 april.. haha.. but most likely will try only on the next opening..
@Jimcool - think same opening no need to re-submit. might be the numbers of candidate already confirmed or we maybe out of their selection criteria. sigh.. huhuhu...
Hi
Anyone done with medical, and currently waiting for offer call/rejection email?
The wait is too daunting.

Hi, wondering if anyone know how many intakes there are in a year?
Hello everybody. I'm a female and I applied with the SPF as SPO too. Next Wednesday is my SA. Any other females going?
.

I've been reading the last few year's of SO forums and perviously someone said there were about 7-9 intakes per year. Just do a rough estimate, this May'16 is C4 intake.
My attachment starts this Monday, and I'm lucky enough to be posted to Police Cantonment Complex. Really excited yet apprehensive on what to expect for the one month attachment!

Oh hello! I'm kinda nervous and I don't know what to wear (female problems).

Your attachment can be described in 3 letter , ZBL
if you are wondering what's that , it's Zuo Bo Lan.
At least it's happening to me and the other 2 squadmates.haha

Will we be paid full salary during the attachment period?
Yes full salary
Does anybody know what happens if I get pregnant during training? And are we entitled to any leaves?
Heyy @Loisyeo.szeyee just to share, when I went down for the SA, my BMI was 24.67. Subsquently, they sent me an email for a full body picture (I think to make further judgement). Was accepted recently, so perhaps if BMI exceeds the healthy range by a bit it should still be ok!
.
@Sold_separately Aye sorta same, i swim and go for gym aerobics classes regularly so I don't appear fat but somehow have alot of weight 😅
Yep there will be a blood test too and they will check your eyesight and hearing as well!
My first day at attachment was as expected and as described as exvinix... haha. But I'm expecting to get to learn and know more along the days... too used to being hectic from 5am til 6pm, so this is a bit too slack for me. Well... take it as the calm before the storm on 16th May then...

Not too sure. But during clinical interviews, you will be asked about marital status and future plans for children. Perhaps you can ask her if there is any leave entitlement!
@Nevershoutnever,
My OO quite nice , he shared with me on how he wants me to spend my 6 weeks,
1 week attachment to Community Policing Unit
1 week to Crime Strike Force
1 week counter .
The other 3 weeks unsure yet , but basically these attachment are more to see see look look and same for me, whenever there's opportunities to bring me for meeting or exercises , he will.
@ Nevershoutnever, @DennisL @ Iceternity
