Still waiting for the medical callup.. SPF sent me an email saying that someone from Shenton will call me up on 9th Mar but til now no one call yet.. :(

Gaylek Haha yeap! It was a torturous wait, but I believe mine is still not the longest. Not sure how many intakes there are in 1 year.

@whoop, i believe no matter how many times you applied, at each time they will consider your application seriously. Personally i dont think any past applications would affect subsequent application. after all, i did heard of people getting in after afew tries. don't give up if it is something you really want to do!

I received the call/offer this morning! will be joining the training batch on 25th May. Orientation will begin on 20 May. They asking me to join them on attachment beginning 27 April-19May but i dont think i can commit to the attachment period.

Hi All,
I attended the panel interview on 24th March , there were about 10 people infront of me. Their interview took abt 20-30mins. By the time it reaches my turn at about 6pm, mine only took almost 15mins.
The questions they ask were simple and short, not really the questions asked in AD but it sounds like it's too easy to be true. They didn't really question or challenge me.
1) Tell me about yourself
2) Motivation to join the force
3) SPF initiatives opinion & Suggestion
No leadership, strength weakness question. Am I gone case liao?? :( I presume they were already tired and restless, or maybe already decided who are the better candidates.

hi, just curious. does the offer states whether u will be emplaced as INSP or ASP? or will you only find out towards the end of the training stage? thanks in advance eugene!

got em email today, stumbled after Dialogue session, perhaps it could be due to my pending up pes status, only thing that was heavily discussed. Maybe I'll try again. had my heart and mind for this career.. but it's not to be. All the best to those who made it all the way..! Congratulations.

I went for dialogue session about 1 week ago and got a email notification stating my SPO application was unsuccessful. Then, I had decided to follow up with a reply to ask today. They reply to say they are currently in the process of reviewing my application and will notify me of the result in due time. I am rather confused. Does it mean I still have some hope? Anyone have similar cases like me? -_-

Just some headsup - some, if not all going for medical this month would have been informed that "for appointments made tomorrow and beyond, it will be postponed until further notice. SPF or Shenton will contact in due time regarding the rearranged medical. "
Probed further to the Shenton personnel, said that "due to some rearrangements between SPF and Shenton".
