How is the interview like for all applicants?
And the psychometric test oso. What kind of qns they give?
Alot of questions like number pattern. More like puzzles involving shapes. Other than that its more of personality test question. And writing essay to see how proficient you are in your english. It's quite easy, although theres a time limit on every section. Nothing to worry about.
1) report for SA
2) submit documents
3) psychometric test
4) interview (usually same day as the psychometric test. If alot of applicants, then you'll come back another day for interview)
5) medical
6) wait a thousand years for their call
If you are unlucky like i do, after 1st interview (which falls on the same day for most of us), they will contact you for 2nd interview :D

Ur second interview is because too many applicants or what...?
Got time limit. If you are not sure. Just move on. Better to skip 1 or 2 question than not completing paper. No need calculator. Alot of patterns that dont involve number. I dont remember any calculation involved.
2nd interview i think is because they are not sure of you maybe because you didnt do well in first interview but still good enough to be shortlisted.
Dont need calculator for the test. So not to worry
I think i did better in my first interview. Lol. But dont know. The whole applicants came during the 1st SA. Few went back 2nd interview
Hi all i just wanna ask if they ask "why do u wan to join the force?". How do i answer? Abit fk up abt the selection assessment on 3 nov
Be honest. And dont be too politically correct also. And put yourself in the position of the interviewers and imagine the typical answer they get from applicants. So try to be different in a positive way, while at the same time amswering their question.
Sorry to be blunt, but if your honest reason to join the force is because it provides stable income and the job scope might interest you, then you have no reason to be in the force. Otherwise, im sure your honest and sincere answer will be appreciated by the interviewers

Hi Guys!
Just pass my 18 recently and yet to went for cmpb medical screening. I'm graduating from ITE next year Jan.
Being in security line in an IR and public enforcement for almost 1 year to accmulate some experience and to addon my resume.
Does my current working experience add points to my application or like starting pay?

Hi, I'm graduated from NITEC, ITE. And I have been inside the force for about 5months. Do consider for further studies (at least a diploma) before you enter the force. CPL and SGT has a very big different, and low education will affect your promotion in SPF.
Working experience will not get extra pay, you can drop a message @ spf facebook for quick and reliable info.
