Hello. You could apply just before your final sem. The whole selection process will take at least 5-6 months.
Hey
Alright thanks for the info! That's long!!
Anbody care to share if you guys applied 6 months before your graduation?
Is there a possbility that we get selected even before officially graduating?

From what I experienced, they will want your full university results and degree classification obtained before they offer you the career.
Oh..isee
I have another 6 months to graduate..So advisable to put in my application first, now?
So, by the time the interview process is over, my results and cert will be out, just nice.
Can you share what the psychometric test entails? What will be asked? Any interviews on SA day? I know there is a tatoo screening.

Hi, if you want to start work as soon as possible, it's better to apply first, since the whole process will take quite long.
No interviews for SA. There are alot of details about SA somewhere in this thread (and the 2013 thread) so you can browse through and see if they help.
Alright!! Thx for the information! Yes have been following the threads... very informative.
Thanks Guys!!
hey guys, has anyone received the email/call-up for SA yet? its been almost 5 weeks since i applied online. is it normal?
sorry to bomb this thread.. I applied for a civilian scheme post and just went for my pre employment medical test but I did not meet the 6/12 requirement for my eyesight:( I should have updated my spectacles.. Will this affect my chance of getting a job offer with SPF? Because it had been a long wait from interview to medical.. I really hope for a job offer but thinking that I could fail at this stage just makes me more worried
anyone from SMU?

Hello Whlteandnerdy! I have a curved spine too but I still managed to pass both SA and medical. I guess as long as your psychomotor skills are fine, should be no problem :)
Hello all! I'm keeping my fingers crossed and waiting. Went for AD last week.
anyways, I hope I didn't fare too badly because there are certain points I feel I didn't elaborate enough.

May i ask when did you apply for the SO position and after how many weeks later did you receive a call for SA? Are we require to present our IPPT results for SA? Is IPPT used as a requirement for selection assessment?
From what i read for the threads, for the panel they will ask situational questions, given a scenario, how will you handle the situation etc...
Temp jobs can try recruitexpress or careers@gov(part time/temp), got lots of places.

Hi blazing drake, that's quite fast for you. I went for SA at the start of June but only recently just went for Dialogue. When was your Dialogue and how long did you wait for the psychologist call?
