Hey bro, Im scheduled for an assesment soon too. was it tough?
I heard there is a full body checkup. to check out for tattoos and shit. not too sure if i could get through that thou. coz i have some tattoos, non-visible in uniform, and some body piercing scars. i have done afew reservist with my division. hoping to join the division as a regular.

Hmm,okay la,just interview,psychometric test,filling up of forms etc.I remember the officer mentioned "Tattoos are allowed,but it must be covered when on duty or on training." But maybe you clarify with the officers there,as for piercing,I am not sure.I am only left with teh body checkup.My regular friend say that it si similar to the CMPB one.

i'm waiting for the call too. have u gotten urs? btw, will they send a notification rejection letter/email? at least we know to stop waiting.

Hi.
I applied for junior police officer and had my assessment session on 14 March 2013. Received a letter a week later for medical checkup on 1 April 2013. I've emailed to ask the recruitement officer for an update and was told that my application is currently being processed.
I'm wondering what's the next procedure after medical check up. Will I be expecting a call/letter/email? What are my chances and how long this usually take?

Hi zuhairah. Means you're halfway there! Next it'll be either another round of interview or letter of acceptance. Keep calling them and ask about ur application status :)

Hi,sorry to be absent from here.Yea,I am waiting for my NITEC cert to be submitted.From what I heard from seniors in this forum,if they reject you,they will do that before they ask you to do the SPF medical checkup.As for the medical checkup,they will send you a letter,but that will not mean that you are 100% in for SPF,let's say around 70-80%ba,just aga aga hor,haha.All the best to you guys. :D

Today is just nice a week. May i know if they will sent us email if they are rejecting us?
Or usually how long is the waiting time for my application to be process?

Just wondering if any of you guys have received call/email/letter frm SPF of your successful application?
As for me, i've did the medical check-up at Raffles Medical on 17 December 2012 & submitted all pending documents & Academic Transcript on mid-April. Currently, still waiting for their reply.
Any updates/info from any of you guys so far?...

Hi tmhobenjamin,
They will always tell u that thayre still processing ur application. So no use calling them. They will call & mail ur letterbox of ur application outcome.
Anyway, theres an intake fr regular officers this June. So most probably they will update u either 3rd or 4th wk of May.

Hmm.. Thinking logically, yes its true. Why would they want to hold up our application right?..
Bcoz frm wht I experienced, 2 of the candidates that I made friends with, during inteview, we went for Medical tgt on Dec 2012. But both of them was unsccessful & their application got rejected somewhere around Jan/Feb 2013.
But bro, its too early for us to celebrate! Hahhah~! Whatever Ive said doesn't mean that we're going to be accepted by SPF. Chances might be high though :) Just hope & pray that we got the best for ourselves :)

Brother congrats to u. I still awaiting for my medical check up result. It already beem forabout 2 months. I asked u I received a no 62100999 dont know it from them, afyer tried calling no reaponse frm them.

They wont tell u the outcome of e medical checkup result. You shoul hv called Raffles Medical aft a week. But nw your Medical outcome is in the hands of SPF. Try calling the officer who hv been contacting you all these while to check on ur medical result.
Abt e number that called you, im nt sure if dats frm SPF. coz mine is diff. 6478 xxxx...
Chill bro. I waited for almost 6 months for this. Hahahaah! Successful applicants shud receive by this coming wk i guess.. All e best to you & u cn keep me updated! :)

Ok thanks for ur advised. I think most likely my intake will nt be in june. Hopefully everything will goes fine I will be very heart pain afyer 2 months of waiting and than unsuccessful.
