if you passed ur interview, they should send u the letter for medical between 2 - 4 weeks.. so i believe u should get it soon.
@james.wlr
Hey I attended the board interview on the same day too! But no news yet :( Hope they get back to me soon! Tell me when you get your reply! :)
Yup yup .... will keep each other informed. Some of those who went for the board interview in March have not got their medical yet.
Haha .... I think they have too many phone calls coming in, just saw this in the Recuirtment Facebook page.
"For those who wish to check on your individual application statuses, please direct your enquiries to [email protected] as our officers will be required to verify your personal information. Please indicate your name (as in NRIC), NRIC No., interview date and position applied for in the email. Thank you and have a great day ahead. :)"
I got the email for medical ... how about you guys ?
Board interview in March but just rcved medical? That's a long wait! Any news in between?
No la.... board interview was in April 11. But they only said that I need to go for medical assessment at Parkway medical. Still waiting for the medical staff to to arrange an appointment for me.
Oh wow I just received an email for SA on 22nd May, and I honestly wasn't expecting a reply so soon since I applied on 19th April. How often do the SA sessions occur anyway?
So now I'm beyond excited, and also a bit nervous/intimidated considering that I'm female.
What are the physical assessment about anyway, since the email mentioned that running shoes are not required. Anyone care to enlighten me on this?
ALSO, I have an eyebrow piercing. ... I pretty much have to remove it now huh, before the SA? ):

SA lasts the whole day, so make sure you have enough rest so that you can focus on the psychometric test.
the physical assessment is mainly to check for tattoos, deformities, posture and other obvious physical problems. no running shoes are needed; you'll just need to know how to march.
just don't put on your eyebrow stud for the SA.. just look as normal as you can; you can put it on after the SA. hope the above helps. good luck!

Thanks for your reply! I spent my whole evening looking through this forum regarding SPO assessments etc. which was very useful. Seems like the psychometric test is gonna be a bit stressful because of its lengthy duration.
Ah I'm just gonna remove my piercing once and for all. Can't have it on forever anyway.
Thanks for the luck man. Super excited for this opportunity.
Hey weymas

Think it through carefully because joining the police is gg to be a major commitment and there is no doubt that most of ur waking hours will be spent on work. It's all up to u to balance work and life.
If joining the police is what u want, it's best to get immediate family's support if not the journey won't be as fulfilling as U'd like it to be.

Blood test, chest X-ray, visual test, urine test, as well as a final check to confirm any tattoos/physical deformities or problems.

There's going to be an intake very soon, not sure if they will push u for it. Have u done ur medical?

Mmm ... no leh ... they didn't ask for full length photo. But during my board interview, they did take a full length photo for one of the canidates. I also do wonder what is it for.
Yeah, I heard the next intake is in July/Aug ....
oh ok no problem, jiayou for your training weymas! nah haven went for medical yet... i think i 1-2 batch after james in terms of processing, so if he has waited for a month it suggests i still got 3 more weeks of waiting to go hahaha =/

Next intake is June but don't think u will be able to make it. U'll likely be in C5 intake.
