not too sure if we are able to be of help.. you could call up SPF hotline to ask about the difference though.

There will be about 6-7 ppl during the panel interview, but only 3 will be asking the questions. these 3 are senior commanders (at least DAC rank). the other few will be a psychologist and probably the same 2 ppl from the AD dialogue session.
the senior commanders dont smile much at the beginning but don't let it get to you. they're just trying to see how calm and composed you are while answering them. they'll prob ask the same old questions like "why the police force" etc.
the whole thing should take about 20-30 mins. do your best and good luck!

I waited for 1 month alr and still no respond from them. Does that mean that I failed the SA test??
The status is still "in process". Will the status change if I'm not shortlisted for interview?

nothing is confirmed until your status changes.. so if it's still in process, just wait for it to change then you'll know the outcome.

there is only one intake every year right?

there's more than one intake per year, so dont worry if you miss the upcoming intake.
Yeah yeah. I'm called to attend the dialogue session! =)
Anyone can share what is it abt?
Congrates shoubuliao_111 ... Its an interview with the AD Manpower ... its a pass/fail session so be prepared. (I failed at this stage during my last application)
Hai ... still waiting for the call for the dialouge session.
The interview is 15 mins right?
How do I prepare for the interview? Any tips for the dialogue session? Example of qns asked??

the interview should be longer than 15mins. during my session each person took at least 20-30mins. i feel that it's quite casual compared to the Panel interview (which had some mind-challenging qns). the dialogue qns are mainly to know more about u and why u've chosen this path. i think everyone's qns should be slightly different as they will ask on ur background. eg. i was selected for wushu national team but in the end i backed out. so they asked what was the reason, how u felt about it, why u made the decision...
eg. i was in quite a number of leadership posts so they asked, how did u lead ur team, what are some problems u faced and how u dealt with it...
so it depends on what background u have to determine the qns they will ask. my friend who's working in MHA gave me this advice: share ur learning points from each experience. hope its helpful to u (:
Thanks stsm90.
Hope to share my joy here soon. Haha.
did anyone receive a call for the clinical interview on the same day as the dialogue session? is it the norm that they call you so soon, only hours after the AD interview?
May I know what does it mean when the status at career@gov changed to shortlisted after attending dialogue session? does it mean that i'm shortlisted for third round interview?
Do they only call to schedule for psychologist interview? or they send out email to notify the candidates? cos i went overseas on the day straight after my dialogue session.. not sure whether they got call me on the day after the dialogue session... Adevil.. you going for clinical interview soon? :)
@adevil: yea it's possible for them to call u straight away after the AD manpower dialogue because psychological interview is done individually and may take up to 1hr plus. Hence they do not need to wait and consolidate the batch.
@yingxin: Yea most likely u are scheduled for the next round. They will call u, no email will be sent out. Why I say most likely is because I heard of cases where their status changed to unsuccessful even though it changed to short listed once. You can always call them to ask about ur interview schedule if u feel that u have waited too long. But try to give the manpower side some time to process everything! :)
im done with the dialogue. But i think i did not do very well.
So nervous when the phone rings, hoping to receive the call from the psychologist soon.
@geckoian: Thanks a lot for the information. Hope I can go to third round. Between i got a miss call from 64784484 this afternoon but when i called back at 3.30pm just now, no people pick up the call eventhough i tried to call back 3 times... not sure is it from SPF..
@shoubuliao_111: May i know which day you attended for the dialogue session? is it on 25th Feb? :)
@yingxin: yea the number that u provided is from the psychology department. Try to call them again tomorrow. Perhap in the morning? Anyway congrats! Means u are in for the psychologist interview! Next will be panel since Psy intv is non-fail stage.
@geckoian: YAY! Thank you very much!! so glad to hear that the number is from SPF's psychology department! Thanks! Okay I will call them again tomorrow. Thank you! :) Between may i know are you going for training soon? :)
